Your selection of ceremony music will greatly enhance the mood
and feeling your wedding, so in is very important to consultant
with Melissa on which songs are the most appropriate for your
desired outcome.
Her expertise in wedding music selection will help you to choose
the perfect harp music for your ceremony.
1. Prelude Music - Seating of
the mothers & family

The prelude will set the mood and prepare the audience for the
wedding vows. The prelude music should welcome guests as they
are being seated. The prelude generally begins 15 to 20 minutes
before the ceremony start time, and it often involves quite a
few songs. These songs should be cheerful, subdued, and set
the stage for the ceremony. Let Melissa know if you have any
favorite music for the prelude. If not Melissa will select the
most appropriate prelude music.
2. Processional Music - Seating of the Wedding Party

The wedding party’s processional marks the official beginning of
the ceremony. Processional music will begin as the groom reaches
the altar. Also, groomsmen may come in at this time, or with the
bridesmaids. Processional music should be majestic, grand and
stately. It should have a slow but flowing feel, ushering the
beautiful bridesmaids and other members of the wedding party
down the aisle. Another classic song is "Canon in D" by
Pachabel.
3. Processional Music - Entrance of the Bride

Traditional the bride enters to the Bridal Chorus - "Here comes
the Bride" however you may choose to enter to another harp song.
4. Interlude or Sacred Music - Special Ceremony Music

The interlude includes many different moments during the
ceremony. The interlude can be the lighting of the unity candle,
memorial candle, or rose presentation.
Many couples choose to have another musical pieces played during
the wedding ceremony. Frequently the wedding couple will ask a
friend to sing during the ceremony. This occurs during the
ceremony or just before the recessional. Short ceremonies may
not have special ceremony music. Let Melissa know if you would
like her to accompany a vocalist during special ceremony music.
5. Recessional Music- After the couple is
introduced

The recessional music is played at the end of the wedding
ceremony, usually after the kiss or after the officiate
introduces the couple. After the officiate pronounces the husband and wife, Melissa will play recessional music
as the couple proceeds up the aisle.
6. Postlude Music - Post ceremony music

This music should set a pleasant atmosphere as wedding
guests exit. Postlude music lasts until all guest exit usually
five
to fifteen minutes. Postlude music should be upbeat, happy and joyous
to add the finishing touch to the ceremony.
7. Cocktail or Reception Music
Continuation of harp music during the cocktail hour is a great
ice breaker. Harp music during the cocktail or reception is
an elegant addition to any wedding
ceremony.
You will want to change the "title4.swf" to the corresponding
movie that you want to show (title1.swf ... title6.swf).
